 When Emily McGregor was little she would always opt to draw animals instead of people.
Even when she was assigned in school to draw a person, Emily would turn in drawings of her family depicted as mice, Santa Claus as a dog, or draw a dragon with
cat ears.
As she got older, Emily improved her craft by making cute animal greeting cards for her grandmother, and even today her grandmother is her biggest
supporter and a regular customer.
Emily attended Chapman University and received a degree in film production while continuing her interest in drawing which resulted in an art minor.
City Dogs slowly grew as more and more people liked the drawings, cards and stories. Connecting City Dogs with helping local animal shelters was a natural progression.
The cards are meant to bring a bit of happiness to other people and extend a helping hand to our animal friends in need. Thank you so much for your support.
